Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT have to take your vehicle back to the main dealer for the first three years in order to keep it within your warranty. There are certain conditions you do have to stick to though. It has to be done at a V.A.T. registered establishment and main dealer (or the same standard) parts have to be fitted. - Oil change service – Change of oil and oil filter.
- Engine service – Change of all filters and oil, checking fluid levels & the running of your engine.
- Full service – Oil, Oil filter, Air filter, Fuel filter, Cabin filter, Spark plugs, Fluid Levels checked and adjusted. The entire car is checked in a full service
- Winter Service – Oil, Oil Filter, Pollen Filter. Check all Brakes, Wipers, Lights, Tyre Pressures & tread depths, Anti freeze & Windscreen wash
When booking a service at any garage, it is important to ask what kind of service you are getting. It’s not unheard of in the motor vehicle industry for companies to give you a price for a service, which seems reasonable, but they only provide an oil change service when you were expecting a full service. An easy but expensive mistake made all too often!
